There are many types of machines available to choose from. The right machine for you depends on the job at hand. Excavators are used for several purposes like, digging trenches for underground utilities, shaping ground for landscaping jobs, digging to prepare for foundations, installing and removing in ground tanks using the machines to lift, demolition work tearing down building structures, and more. Attach a Concrete Breaker and you have a versatile machine that can break vertically and horizontal. Small Mini Excavators are available for smaller and more sensitive work as well as to overcome access restrictions to the jobsite. When using Excavators you typically use a narrow tooth bucket for hard digging and a wider smooth bucket for backfilling.

Skid Steer Loaders of Bobcats as they are commonly referred to are wheeled loaders used to do mild surface digging (generally with a toothed bucket) and for moving material from one spot to another by scooping the material in a large bucket and driving to the desired location and dumping it. These machines can have multiple uses with the addition of attachments. Add a Breaker Attachment for concrete breaking of slabs and driveways, add a Sweeper Attachment to keep your jobsite clean at the end of the day, add a Fork Attachment and use the machine as an all-terrain forklift to move pallets of material to the desired location. Because of the versatility of these machines they are commonly used on construction and landscaping projects.

Track Loaders are Skid Steer Loads but instead of driving on wheels they are equipped with tracks. Track Loaders have some advantages over wheeled machines. They have much stronger push power because the amount of track in contact with the surface is much larger than the amount of Tire on a wheeled machine. This allows for better digging and grading performance as well as making it easier to fill the bucket when scooping material. Track Loaders also offer higher lifting capacities than same sized wheeled machines. One of the main reasons why a Track Loader might be used instead of a wheeled machine is that they don't get stuck very easily. They can tackle sand and muddy surfaces where a wheeled skid steer cannot.

Mini Track Loaders are smaller machines that you typically ride and control the machine on a platform at the back of the unit. These machines are ideally suited for restricted access applications, but pack big power and performance.

Power Buggies are another way to move material and generally travel faster and have higher volume capacities than many Skid Steer Loaders and are narrow enough to perform well in restricted access job sites. They are used to move concrete, sand, soil, and various other material.
